After 20 years in the corporate world in the UK working as an executive assistant Wendy packed her bags and moved to Canada where she embarked on a totally different path. The stunningly beautiful area she calls home is a photographers paradise with native species of Elk, Mountain Goats and Bears, Wendy took an extreme liking to Bears and their plight in the wilderness and she decided to set up her own business Bears Interrupted Photography and now also dedicates a lot of her time volunteering for bear rehabilitation programs throughout the Province and worldwide, she is an official volunteer for Northern Lights Wildlife Society. She also worked closely with a captive 600lb male grizzly bear making behavioral observations and educating the public in everything bear.
Wendy works alongside Marlon as his unlicensed assistant, photographer and social media guru, she also works as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant 2 days a week. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, skiing and nature walks with her children and 2 dogs.
